Appraisals and Valuations
Each Worldwide Business Brokers office can provide a rule of thumb valuation of your business at no charge. You can also send us an email and someone from our corporate headquarters will respond. The questions we ask will depend on the type of business you’re in. To speed things up, in your contact form, tell us as much about your business as possible.
For instance, what industry (i.e., media, food service) and what category (radio station or printing; full service franchised restaurant or independent pizza parlor) are you in? Annual sales and net profit (include all owner benefits); What region/state? Is real estate included? If there are fixtures, equipment and inventory, what’s the estimated value, and so on.
Some businesses, for bank and financing purposes, impending sales, estate planning or simply to give the owner(s) an accurate assessment of where they stand, need a certified professional valuation. Our offices provide this service through our corporate headquarters. Our valuation services include three or four methods of arriving at an accurate valuation from which we ultimately extract the appropriate data to arrive at the highest possible price for your business. Our process is industry and geography specific. We examine physical assets, goodwill (both existing and potential), revenues, earnings, liabilities, net worth, existing management (or anticipated changes therein), growth of the business (existing and potential), prospects for growth in the industry and many other aspects of valuations. In some cases we make recommendations as to steps the owner(s) might consider that would positively impact the resultant valuation. We do all of this for a fee ranging between US$2500-$10,000.
Let us know what you want – contact form. Your interest and data will be held in the strictest confidence.
