Norman J. Gaither has been a business broker and international consultant since 1984. He has negotiated the sales of millions of dollars in businesses in many industries ranging from software development and multi-media companies to durable goods manufacturers and retail and convenience chains at prices in the millions of dollars. Key general skills include business and business asset valuations, planning and general management, marketing and sales, sourcing of business purchase capital, negotiations facilitation and general business consulting. Mr. Gaither's experience overlaps many industries. He has served as regional controller of Servomation, Inc., the second largest vending company in the United States as well as Vice President and General Manager of Chesapeake Rim & Wheel, Inc., a national distribution company in the automotive industry before starting his own consulting and business brokerage business in 1984.

With his accounting background as a foundation, his consulting experience has been primarily in the "turn around" and "distress" arenas. His efforts in this area include the turn around of a US $12 million (revenues) Mid-Atlantic regional retail chain from more than $300,000 in annual losses to $300,000 in annual profits in two years; the reorganization of a US $20 million (revenues) automotive fuels and services company losing $250,000 which resulted in a US $500,000 annual profit in four years; The successful reorganization and partial break up and selling off of one of the largest (US$300 million) conglomerates in the Balkans.

Mr. Gaither has been a business broker for more than 17 years. Though he has focused his efforts on the East Coast of the United States, he has facilitated in the transfer of businesses throughout the United States and Europe. His clients have included companies of all sizes up to US$20 million with 750 employees. He has brokered businesses in the following industries:
