PROFILE
Joseph L. Caffrey is a successful entrepreneur with expertise in consumer, business to business, business-method franchise and high-tech/internet business development and marketing. He has developed or been involved in the development of multiple business-method franchise concepts in the United States and Canada.

He has been the founder or co-founder of numerous businesses in fields ranging from retail and service to franchising and distribution. He has offered a broad range of business consulting services, including: Internet Business Development, Marketing, Business Management, Branding, Business Start-Up, Strategic Alliance, Capital Development and Global Scale Marketing in the high-tech office-staffing, medical consulting, equipment supply and online industries.

He is co-founder of a nationally franchised retail confectionery operation that included full-sized candy stores and kiosks based in malls, airports and other high-traffic locations. He developed a co-branding division that was spun off and negotiated and secured international licensing agreements.

He is also the founder of an international confectionery wholesale, distribution and marketing company, establishing sources for and distributing confectionery products around the world. He has negotiated and secured various international licensing agreements. By the time this business was sold there were more than 200 units world-wide.

Mr. Caffrey also contracted with publicly traded design and manufacturing company Refac Consumer Products (wholly-owned subsidiary of Refac International, AMEX: REF) to develop international distribution for their consumer electronics lines for MTV: Music Television and Volkswagen's New Beetle, among others. In this capacity he identified and vetted individuals and companies in Canada, Europe and Australia/New Zealand and oversaw all negotiations.

BUSINESS TO BUSINESS PUBLICATIONS
Mr. Caffrey is the developer and author of the Money Source Program, a step by step program for raising business capital for start-up and expanding businesses. In addition, he developed and authored How To Franchise Your Business in the United States, a step-by-step program and consultantcy designed to assist non-US franchisers in entering the US market.

INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS ACTIVITIES
Mr. Caffrey's business experience outside of the United States includes the offshore design and manufacture of industrial product, the import of fixtures and equipment, the export of finished manufactured industrial product as well as consumable goods. The geographical span of these activities was in Latin America, the Middle East and throughout North America. Other international efforts include directing negotiations for licensing and branded development in the Far East, the Middle East, Canada and Latin America, including country specific as well as regional master franchise and licensing agreements.
